Ohio — Woods v. Marcano, Nos. 106710, 106711, 106712, decided 10/25/18. The Ohio Court of Appeals held that because plaintiff registered his fictitious name with the Secretary of State, he had the right to take title to property in the fictitious name and sue to enforce contracts entered in that fictitious name. Thus, the trial court erred in dismissing the plaintiffs’ suits on the ground that he didn’t own the property and title was held in a non-existence entity.
